JJA Jazz Blogathon: Jazz in Your Community
To celebrate 2012 Jazz Day and Jazz Month– and everyday-is-jazz-day– the Jazz Journalists Association held its first ever Jazz Blogathon. We asked jazz bloggers and other jazz media makers to post about jazz in their community between April 13 and April 30, 2012. You’ll find their contributions, below: Together they add up to a profile of jazz as it is being played, learned about and listened to in cities and towns everywhere –more evidence that jazz is alive and thriving.
THANKS TO ALL WHO CONTRIBUTED TO OUR FIRST JJA BLOGATHON. We’ll have another soon.
